MISC EXPANDS LNG CARRIER FLEET WITH THE NAMING OF SERI DIAN AND SERI DAYANG FOR SEARIVER MARITIME

On 7 May 2026, MISC marked another significant milestone in its LNG shipping journey with the naming of two new-generation LNG carriers, Seri Dian and Seri Dayang. The addition of these vessels further strengthens MISC’s longstanding partnership with SeaRiver Maritime (SRM), a wholly owned subsidiary of ExxonMobil, reflecting decades of collaboration in supporting the safe and reliable transportation of LNG across the global energy value chain.

MISC AND PETRONAS STRENGTHENS 40-YEAR LEGACY WITH NEW LNG CARRIER FLEET

MISC has formalised a new phase of its collaboration with PETRONAS LNG Ltd. (PLL) through long-term time charter agreements for five new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers. Signed at Seri Negara, Kuala Lumpur on 11 May 2026, the agreements reflect the continued alignment between both organisations in advancing LNG shipping capabilities with a strong focus on reliability, operational performance and long-term value creation.
